Through our newly created sister organization, the non-profit Kids Cultural Books, we organize African American and Multicultural Children's Book Festivals. The purpose of these book festivals is to promote literacy, encourage reading and provide communities with the rich resources of African American and other ethnic children's literature. By having authors and illustrators signing their books and celebrity readers, we create excitement around books and reading.
Past Book Festivals,
- Cathedral of Saint John the Divine, New York City
- John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington DC
- Westchester County Center, White Plains, NY
- Chicago State University Student Center
- Magic Johnson Theater, Los Angeles
